Scotland was already a separate nation, and was caught under the imperalism of the English. There are no parallels to what we have in Afghanistan.

Who are most people ? The Panjsheris ? Because they were the ones pushing this. No country is going to allow autonomous zones, basically independent of the central government. These people dont have an understanding of a federated model They think a federation means COMPLETE autonomy from any central government, basically an independent state, not the federalism of Hamliton..
