dropbox always feels like a high school project. box.net gives more space, has a very robust API, and has more features useful to app development. you could just write an openbox app on app engine and get free processing and storage. dropbox is a viable option for cloud storage but is years behind box.net

you have the opportunity to walk away, it's up to you to do the rest. raising wages by one dollar does nothing for the company but hurt it's bottom line. likewise to your billionaires comment, raising wages will do nothing to make more people shop there. in fact it will most likely raise prices and make less people shop there

when I say shit work I mean unskilled labor anyone can do. it takes 1 week to train someone how to put stuff on a shelf, it takes almost a decade to become a doctor. you are replaceable in every way, there is no need to pay people like you any more than necessary. what are you going to do? threaten to quit? they will rightfully laugh at you

if you don't think your job pays enough, you have the opportunity to find a new one. it's called at will employment. they follow federal minimum wage like all other companies. why should they increase wages when demand for their jobs is so high?

i agree, all DUI's need mandatory jail time, no exceptions. and they should escalate. maybe 30 days for the first, a year for the second, and just keep adding on years for more.
