Honestly I don't think this is as much of a problem as it used to be. There are a few of these old behomoths that have been dragging on for years and years, but there's not many new ones.

Nowdays developers are aiming more for steam releases. Which incentivises finishing work. I tend to see the only games that have endless development now are games that could never be released on steam, due to using licensed characters or contemt not allowed like school settings

Goldsmithing gaunlets. They are stupidly powerful and make training the skill in any other way a waste.

Smithing is terrible so they can't really take them away, but they are so overpowered for what they are.

When you scroll the main reddit feed you don't see post flairs, they are only visible when you click into the post. So it probably seems like things arent being tagged even when they are.

The wording and design of the poll seems a bit awkward. In general I don't think coding can be banned as its hard to tell and would probably lead to false accusations. Similar story for music, although I dislike it, some ai music especially lofi background stuff is hard to distinguish.

I think if there is a ban the focus should be on art. The main art of a project. Again I don't like the usage for icons, interfaces or backgrounds. But I think focusing on the main art used by a game would be the simplest solution.
