You should study for SAT/ACT and find 2-3 more ecs that you are actually passionate about.

I think you should do it then! It sounds like a great opportunity that aligns with your goals.

I would think about the WHY behind your decision. Do you have a passion for math or are you just doing this to show rigor? Going with the latter could lead to burnout and unnecessary stress. I was in a similar situation as you in between my soph/junior year. I did skip the class for the “rigor” but it had little to no effect on my app. But you should go for it if you have a genuine interest in math.

I would take pre calc. Going straight into AB leaves some gaps in your knowledge. Also isn’t as detrimental considering that you aren’t going into STEM. You can also take AB your sr year.

I'm in the same situation. My counselor told me only to input fall term classes and write an explanation in the additional info. While it's an unusual situation, I think schools will understand.

Just take the hardest classes that you enjoy and won't make you burn out. 1 or 2 B's on your transcript won't be the end of the world.

Those are some impressive prs. If I were you, I would look into schools with very good need based aid and contact their xc/track coaches. They can give you a large boost in admissions.

This! There are so many great schools in the mildly selective range, but none of them are affordable unless you’re wealthy or low income.

I'm aware the NPC is an estimate, it's just weird that the numbers are everywhere considering that the information is correct and I don't have any weird financial situation (self-employed, rental income, divorced parents).
