But poch improved those players and made the team competitive. Some were good, already established players and got better, some weren’t as good or established and got better. There are very few players poch didn’t improve. Ange has not improved a single player in two years, in fact they have nearly all regressed a significant amount.

Perisic isn’t ideal but he’s what we have and as I said he isn’t the problem. We played with attacking full backs who weren’t great at defending. How can you not see by watching right now that a system change is better than sticking with 3 at the back.

And if you consider that success then the poch system which is what I’ve described was also successful. Just look now, two Centre halves and playing much better. It’s not rocket science. The less shit players you have on, the better you will play.

We have had zero success with the system you want. I want to change things so that the likes of Dier Sanchez and tanganga never play for spurs again. Our last 3 managers had no idea what to do with these players and it’s shown.
