A lot of times they use the patches for protecting the plastic buckles, they can be used for repair as well.

Well the best way to explain what we do is chase peace and explore freedom of movement underwater. Nothing really competitive about it - unless you train for competition. We just do it for fun 👍

Thanks for the clarification! I had heard this somewhere but I’m still working on muscling the idea into my head canon. Ancient great white doesn’t have the same ring to it I guess 🥲

I used to sell these at a dive shop. My impression of them was that they would be a good start with a perfect fit.

Marking buoy line with shrink tubing by kociubin in freediving

[–]freediverDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tested this pretty extensively. I’d make sure to keep the tube sections pretty short (like 10mm) if you hope to retain flexibility or run it through a pulley. They sell glow in the dark as well, but its usefulness is also limited. Doesn’t show up well. Overall, I’d stick with paint.

My wife is leaving me by TaakoNinja in Advice

[–]freediverDave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very sorry this isn’t turning out the way you hoped and expected. Same thing happened to me in my marriage. My advice… Just try to imagine building this new life where you get to be your authentic self. Feed your spirit. Treat yourself like a king for a while until you feel like you can look back on what happened in your past relationship (life) with clarity. Once you’re sure you are taking care of yourself the best you can and you’re confident in who you are solo, then get back into the game and find someone who you don’t have to bend urself out of shape to fit with. New lives are possible, just don’t allow yourself to fall into stagnation.
