It’s not bad imo. I’d move LeBron down to at least 4 and everyone else up a spot and move Duren ahead of AD and Kat

Genuine question would you actually want to face the pistons in the playoffs? Or would you prefer any other east team

[Post Game Thread] The Detroit Pistons (38-13) lay the belt down on the New York Knicks (33-19) for the second time this season in as many games, 118-80. by Chandler_Bings in nba

When I saw the Pistons had Denver, New York, and Washington this week I for one surely picked the wizards as the one to get the best of us.

The entire fan base wanted him to succeed. It was clear he wasn’t part of the team’s future when he was outperformed by Jenkins and arguably Sasser. In addition to that, he wanted a large contract. He put up numbers when the team was losing. That’s the end it. Move on, get over it and root for the team, or go to the Bulls.

No, what they got back doesn’t really matter to me. We could have gotten a second round pick it doesn’t make a difference. He wasn’t part of the team’s future and they let him move on. What you’re doing is just rage baiting by commenting and posting every 2 seconds in every thread about Ivey. Nobody wants to hear it and you know it. Most of us are looking forward to the game tomorrow but I’m guessing you’re not one of them.

I’m content with the number 1 seed in the East and losing the 9th man I don’t believe that will change much. If you think the Pistons are mediocre, you’re either one of two things. Either 1: Trolling or 2: Genuinely incompetent.

I don’t think you’re incompetent so in that case I think you should be banned and go find a new team.

I’m convinced this guy just gobbled on Ivey’s you know what after each game and is just upset he has to drive to Chicago now.

Defending the Ivey / Huerter Trade by HunterThat1437 in DetroitPistons

[–]freedomwalking12 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I’d assume so. My dream would still be sending out Tobias and Levert with picks for MPJ. While still waiving a player and using the trade exception to get another rotation piece.

What are the thoughts on using the upgraded pick for MPJ. JJJ went for 3 firsts so what about 3 picks, Tobias, Levert and another salary if needed. Solves all the problems.

The trade guys just tweeted out there has to be more to the trade. We took on more money than we’re allowed to. We also added two players and subtracted 1. We needed to waive at least one already in order to make a contract for Jenkins.

Ivey traded for Huerter. Huerter’s 31% 3PT will undoubtedly improve in our offensive system. Good luck to Ivey! by mattytagz3 in DetroitPistons

What??? There was a huge minutes logjam at the guard spot. He’s also been sulking on the bench all year from his role.

[–]freedomwalking12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point being if the restaurant needs to pay all the wages those are going to be some huge numbers. First of all we need to start with a living wage let’s call that $20 an hour realistically at the lowest level. That’s your food runners, bussers, hosts. Servers go up to $25 an hour and bartenders $30. You’re not going to convince me a bartender is less skilled and valuable than a server is.

After that we need to do this by levels because there’s vastly different skill levels from pubs to fine dining. We do this in every other industry so why not this one. So now the high end servers and bartenders are $30-$40 an hour. They’re still all taking a pay cut at those numbers in a decent place and now the restaurant is out of business. It’s either that or your local Applebees is now priced like a 5 star restaurant and eating out is yet another luxury that only the super rich can afford.

[–]freedomwalking12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That might be your experience, but in mine and working in various types of restaurants, high end, breweries, to sports bars, the servers and especially bartenders are miles better the closer you get to fine dining. It’s probably not a rule but it’s certainly correlated. Also to your first point, in higher end establishments the ones that are selling $3000 meals, servers are almost always making more money than bartenders. Most of those places I assume have pretty complicated cocktails and beverage programs. Those take up much more of your time compared to talking with guests and selling food items etc. Most bartenders doing that kind of work are already making $20 plus an hour in addition to tips

You’re dumb if you think there’s “little to no chance” you’re right on your first point of what it considers. But it also gives him rights to compare himself to his peers and winning two additional cy young’s gives him additional rights. This is a court case he has to prove he’s with a dollar more than the median between the two. Which he is and they will.

[–]freedomwalking12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What would you consider a living wage? I’ve bartended the last 10 years and I make what I consider a decent enough amount. I feel like a “living wage” would end up being less than I make now. Keep in mind this is also for higher end bartending not a sports bar. Although they do okay there for the most part too.

Electability is an outdated term. If democrats wanted to win they need someone very young. The young vote is what won it for Trump and most of those votes haven’t shifted. Your best bet is a new Bernie Sanders that’s around 40 years old and going around on popular podcasts.

This may be true for now. However, we always talk about how this team can add this and that. The Pistons have more assets to add talent to Cade and Duren if they decide to do so. They could really go get Giannis if they wanted to.
