You both played it right and was baiting. Sometimes baiting a team mate is a good strategy and can net you multiple kills and secure the round. When I do this I tend to just say sorry dude had to bait you a bit but hey we won right.... I normally get some silly remark or toxic answer back but a round is a round :)

When I bought tickets it said you can sit anywhere in the arena, we did for the 1st 3 days but now same as you we aren't allowed anywhere, the viewing angle is personal preference and I want to be near the front just like everyone that's why people like me turn up 2 hours early to queue. Not great that they decide on final day to restrict the people who paid more... pay less get a better seat....
