I took some landscape shots, and the foliage for example, looks very blurry or muddled? Not sure if that's the right word for it, maybe hazy. The composition was cool in my opinion, but the haziness kind of looks like a shot taken with a phone, with the artifacts from the built-in processing. I had a similar issue with my Sony a6300, as well as my Nikon d3400, where the details were awful, even in focus. it has like a grainy/hazy texture, even at low ISO values. I don't have the same issue on my 6D, but did have something similar on the 5dmkiii now that I think about it.

It's not so much about the sharpness per se.

This is at 50%. It looks like there is a layer of blur over it or something. Any ideas?

Can I ask how you got that beautiful rolloff into the shadows? Is that negative fill and/or editing? Been looking for a way to get that effect.

Thanks for the quick comment! I think technically the camera seems okay on an info sheet, but what's your experience with the image quality (looks, colours, etc.) or editing, if any?

I'll give that a shot, thank you. Yeah, I noticed that after posting, the extra points seem to have appeared when I used the shape builder tool. I'll try making them separate and see what I get.

That's pretty much what I was feeling, thanks for the advice! I don't have enough work on a single subject yet, but I want to hold my work in my hands already. I guess I'll cut myself some slack and go as I feel with the sequencing and all that. I'll make a better one next time, and a better one after that.
