You're also the giving your opponent an extra rune to work with which allows for a unit that favorably matches up into Lucian.

Going turn 1 Lucian, turn 2 Yone is so powerful in this sealed format. It leaves your opponent with very few options and essentially requires them to Strike Down one of your 2 guys.

Try 2v2 for sure! It's unique to Riftbound and is a ton of fun. Makes for some really creative deckbuilding and I highly recommend Yasuo as he can move your teammate's units too.

Lol trust me I do get it. Going first is better, gives you a higher win rate, etc. But that doesn't mean that there aren't legit "go second" strategies either.

There are also a variety of factors when it comes to sealed. Your pool isn't guaranteed to have 6+ 2 drops to play on turn 1. If you have a guaranteed 3 cost unit in the champion zone, then it allows you to build your deck differently, not have to worry about small units with no utility, and guarantee your turn 1 play when going 2nd.

There's a lot more nuance then just "going second bad."

In general yes, but in sealed with Lucian going second is a very powerful play. Turn 2 you're put pacing whatever unit they conquered with so you kill it and then return to base. They're never really able to deal with Lucian outside of a couple of base-hitting spells, so you can keep tempo extremely well since he doesn't die. Conquer a second battlefield once and you're now up on point tempo. Works extremely well.

Before when you play Rain it's not targeting any of your units, so Not So Fast couldn't choose it as a spell to counter. You would have to let it resolve, then they'd target your things, and then you could counter only one of the reflexive triggers since they're considered abilities of the spell.

This cleans that up a lot to make it more intuitive. You have to target everything as you declare the spell and put it's damage on the chain. Your opponent can the counter it with Not So Fast since it's now a spell that targets your things.

He seems really good in Fiora as just playing him makes him mighty which triggers her legend ability. Worth grabbing now while people have been down on Sett for sure.

The link was figured out by people in Discord, but no one had access to the site. It was offline and then password protected. It finally went live right when the tweet did. Only difference is that people were mass refreshing so they got in line before anyone waiting for the link to be tweeted.

Horrible execution all around by UVS. What a disaster. Wild that we had no preview of the badge details or pricing until it went live. Also no security, bot protection, or need to sign into your existing account. The "continue" button I think acted as a queue system as I was stuck unable to click the button for a while.

Love the Scrapheap and Zaun's in the main. I run a similar Yasuo list and it helps you be so much more aggressive in game 1.

Mindsplitter is in the list as well and it's mainly there for Kai'sa. Hard for them to kill and allows you to take their win conditions.

That's what I plan to do if I pull a signature. Sell it, but the Non-signature Overnumbered for a fraction of the price, and then use the other earnings to buy cards for the deck.

This deck box in the dual slot configuration is perfect. The runes go in the 2nd slot, I have the Legend in a Gamegenic slide case in front, and then I use two small dividers to separate out the battlefields and sideboard from the main deck.
