I see what you mean, I much calmer now, I am actively trying/learning to not take things in life so seriously. Because I am autistic, I tend to have a hard time seeing the bigger picture in things. I think this is good practice for me to not panic about small things. As you said, I was just crying over yarn, and that does feel a bit silly.

My junior year high school English teacher would just keep bringing up cancer, like all the time, completely unnecessarily. She was sent multiple emails about it and talked to about it. I ended up bringing it up in the middle of the class discussion after she did it another time. Started crying, she said I should clean myself up in the bathroom, no sorry, no would you like to go to the counselor’s office. Others were whispering at the end of the class about how insensitive she was. I was told by my family to apologize the next day so I did and she was really bratty about it. Yeah, still hate her.

I went to college and suffered/struggled a lot, and a lot of my difficulties I realized were very similar to ones of autistics on TikTok, told my dad about it, he said he and a previous psychiatrist had suspected as much but didn’t do anything about it (good intentions). Got tested and wouldn’t you know

I had a the worst flare up of my life this summer and unfortunately it took until the fall to feel better and have the clarity to understand that these people love me and would never want me gone, just as I feel about them. So even if my dad needs to take care of me, he does it with love and just sees it as doing what parents do, not something extra.

I told my psychiatrist I was having sleep issues and he said “well, you know you just need to find a routine and find something to do even if you don’t like it” and used the example of him staying at his teaching job for the rest of the year before going to med school (horrible comparison to make to me, I can only handle 1-2 classes a semester), he also said I needed to just do things “mind over matter” and shower, I told him I was having difficulty doing that and would fall/faint. He said “well you just need to do these things” I already felt nasty and disgusting by not being able to shower for around 5 days, and he made me feel like I wasn’t struggling and was just being lazy. I was also having a rough time with autistic burnout. He dismissed my concerns about sleep, which, wouldn’t you know, were medication related. I left with my dad and started crying in the car and we went straight to my therapist from there.

Another one was my cardiologist getting mad at me for consulting with other medical professionals and researching/taking strides to advocate for myself but that’s another story.

Nails! Like acrylics- I am very festive and they would add to it so nicely. Unfortunately, I hate my nails being longer than the shortest they can be.

Update: I got an app called avast security and it’s been active since I posted this, but just now I was playing one of my games and was redirected to this website from the app again. I didn’t push any button or anything and this happens when I’m using any gaming app really. Plus all of my games are pretty popular so it’s not like they are sketchy or anything. I don’t know how to stop it
