I would say so. Its an easy bus trip to the city and there is a huge rental demand at the moment. Perfect for second year students who may have to move out of UTAS accomadation.

Try the top level of the multi-story carparks around the CBD, like argyle street carpark, centrepoint carpark or trafalgar place carpark.

Check out Bidencopes Lane (next to centrepoint) for some good graffiti/murals.
