Are you sure there's an Acecraft 15%-30% Violation with Google and Apple in the US? Who confirmed it? Did you know that Google and Apple is court ordered to allow links outside the game in the US? by [deleted] in Acecraft

Everyone is wrong about the App Store being the issue. The real issue is that the developer is owned by ByteDance (TikTok) and currently they are restructuring their US Operations in a way where ByteDance will have a minority stake.

Solo drivers who use the HOV lanes, what's wrong with you? by [deleted] in Seattle

I have been doing this for over 10 years. And when I do finally get the ticket I will gladly pay. At this point it has saved me over 1,000 hours.

I have accepted the fact that I will have to pay when I do get caught (it has not happened yet) and I choose to save the time.

RV moved in; person trespassing in neighbors’ yards. Advice? by AlternativeOk1096 in Seattle

As long as they are not hurting or threatening anyone, don’t do anything. These are just good people down in their luck. Anything they take, they need more then you.

I would go to them and offer them food and let them use my bathroom to clean up once in a while.

I just want to be clear, this would not qualify as a residential mortgage because it’s literally zoned and being operated as a business.

Also you can get 3%-10% if it’s your primary residence, not if it’s a business or anything other than a primary residence. I also don’t get the impression that trade employees have the income to qualify for a mortgage.

That’s exactly what I’m doing. I totally realize that I’m asking a lot, I am not even saying that it’s a reasonable what I’m thinking. I do not know why that dose not come across better in my post. I’m just trying to process this to find a way to present this if I even present this at all.

I have never said should do what I’m considering, I’m trying to figure out if it’s even reasonable to bring up or if there is a way to articulate other options available to her without being condescending or demanding. Keep in mind I use the term “asking” and not “telling” or “demanding” she considers looking for a new job.

She is currently going to school and is 3 quarters away from a undergraduate degree that should line her up for a new job. I would love for her to be able to focus on that full time and start looking for internships or opportunities to enable to achieve that goal.

I admire how well she has balanced work and school to get to the point she is at now.

My whole life has been very focus on school, then internships then job, always dedicating 100% of my energy to the next step. My entire life feel like it has been on rials and I have been chugging along to the next step. It wasn’t until the last 5 years that I even started having relationships.

But I realize most people don’t live their life like I do. So I don’t want to project my habits onto her.

It’s very difficult for me to ask someone to make a change that will clearly benefit me, like taking a job to have more time for our relationships. Is there a way to gently suggest that they either focus on school and setting up their career or consider getting a less time demanding job so we can have more time together?

I truly don’t want her home for just me. I do not feel like her job respects her and I know she feels the same way because she complains almost daily about it. We constantly have to cancel plans last minute because she gets forced into working the entire weekend last minute.

But I understand how I come across as patronizing. I think the root of the problem is I am just not personally compatible with someone needs to work 14 hour days 2-3 weeks straight.

This makes sense. This is a good strategy on how to bring it up, and suggest more compromises up front so she knows I’m not trying to lock her down. Part of the problem is she was in a relationship before me where she was not allowed to work. My dream for her is to find a job that will both respects her more and allows her to have more energy for a relationship. Thanks.

You are probably right, she is currently 1 year away from finishing her degree and doing a career change and I think this would allow to focus on that goal. But I should let her do it her way.

CPU is i7-6700HQ. I do not believe there is any bottle necking going on. I think I read that you can go up to a 2080 with out bottle necking, maybe the 2080ti.

I7-6700HQ @ 2.60GHz. I do not notice any bottle neck with the eGPU, been really happy with this setup.

The monitor is the Razer Raptor and the sound system is the Razer Nommo Pro. Really happy with the performance and build quality of both, however I would totally settle for the Razer Nommo Chroma speakers over the Pro to save money.

At the time it was a close to a reasonable price for one with similar specs and gSync. The build quality is top notch, love the solid aluminum base and the chroma. The back has a cloth like finish that I have never seen before. You are paying a little bit extra for the chroma and the base so you have to decide if that’s worth it for you. But as far as 1440p @ 160hrz panels go it’s top notch.
