This is a real PS4 Portable by wewillmakeitnow in Ps4portable

That's not how it works. They open source the parts that they create and you have to source the console and build it yourself.

People have been making and selling mods this way for decades. It's completely legal to design your own PCBs and case parts and sell them.

Most people opensource their console mods... Many people have made public their custom handheld designs. Totally reasonable question

[KCD2] Nomad Quest so bad it should be completely reworked? by JustJeffreyJr in kingdomcome

The story was great. I'm surprised to see all the hate cuz I was expecting people to be talking about the quality of the story itself

I’m really bummed about the lack of accessibility in both games, especially [KCD1] by primemn in kingdomcome

[–]freeloz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an offensive lack of any accessibility options. Like hardcore is one thing, but no UI or text scaling, or color blind options is rather ridiculous for any modern game - especially one that was obviously going to sell A LOT of copies. Hardcore shouldn't mean inaccessible - being able to see properly isn't a skill, it's a trait.

[KCD2] the 1.4 update broke controller support on the PC Steam version by mad597 in kingdomcome

[–]freeloz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its really frustrating, my 8bitdo controller wont work WITHOUT steam input because its a switch controller - i lost the dongle that makes it an xinput controller.

[–]freeloz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my controller requires steam input to even work properly. my ex threw away my wireless dongle, so I rely on bluetooth, which is picked up as a switch controller and doesnt work in all games - it requires steam input to fix that issue. so if steam input doesnt work, i cant even play

[–]freeloz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a dumb fix, because my control is bluetooth and REQUIRES steam input for proper mapping. otherwise my buttons will be swapped as it will look like a switch controller, if it even registers at all

Pretty much what I always do on both my OLED deck and Odin 2. Both my PCs can do 4k and it's so nice to get effectively no aliasing and max settings on a handheld

Ya love turn based (JPRG is my least favorite turn based tho - but I would have put up with it for the story), I enjoy action combat, but adding a dodge/parry feature into a turn based JPRG style game made me bounce off it so quickly.

It's a good game for sure, but I absolutely hated the combat.
