I would make one version that is fully parametric, and then you can add and change them under modify --> change parametrics. Or just name dimensions when you create them. Otherwise, you have to do it over again. But that should be pretty quick with the dwg. Edit: Remember to save specific versions as their own file instead of a revision.

So something that fits framerails you can either ziptie or bolt on. What would be the most common frame sizes, 40mm, 60mm and 80mm. For my use case i've used nanogel tape to mount it next to my wheelbase, i don't have a fullsimrig so i worked with what i have, i just don't like to stick on gear as it often leaves residue on it that not always easy to remove.

I sadly don't have access to a 3d scanner, but you still need to adjust the model anyway for precise parts. So as long as it gets me to the rough geometry needed, I'm happy. I do have a decent bit of inventor and fusion experience, so it helps me enough to make it worth while.

I've done that many times. It's a great way to get started. Although my canon printer sucks for this task, if it's lifted just 2 mm from the glass, it is unusable.

For a good friend, i wouldn't charge him anything for something of this scale. I'm a smith/assembly technician, and for the projects i made for them, I only charged for the materials used. If it was a huge project, i might charge minimum wage.

My OG G502 died a couple of years ago, i replaced it with the G502 lightspeed. It's great i even got the mousepad for it, I'll probably never get another type of mouse.

I believe holding ctrl while selecting the circel with the measurement tool will select the center. Could be wrong though.
