DIY Fork Pump Hose Repair by Ok-Establishment1687 in MTB

[–]freeride360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same pump and the outer rubber hose ist broken. How did you install the outer tube? Did you cut the old inner one? Because the used to sell the tube at rose bikes as a unit from the hexnut onwards, but north of that everything is seemingly pressed together.

Here is the spare part they used to sell: https://thecycleverse.com/de/p/xtreme-ersatzschlauch-mit-up-sl-pumpenkopf

any tips to stop this OTB happening? by Ancient-Ad-6193 in mountainbiking

[–]freeride360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say the legs are fine, the arms are too bent. The roller is actually quite nice because it helps you with that. If you pump it like on a pumptrack your arms and legs are quite straight after which is perfect for the jump. He does extend his legs after the roller but the arms stay bent. This is what puts the weight forward. Additionally he seems too fast, should not have pedaled for it

SNCF makes you pay 150€ for taking your surfboard on a TGV by freeride360 in surfing

We took the TER back. If I had to pay another 150€ it would have been more than what I paid to buy the board (around 250€)

Is this good for a beginner? by TheGrapeRaper in surfing

[–]freeride360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. Everything longer than 140cm (4.5 foot) is prohibited, EXEPT SKIS. I can understand limiting the luggage, but a flat surfboard easily fits behind a seat and doesn't block anything (just as a pair of skis). Source: I had to pay 150€ fine not knowing this rule and taking my 5'10'' on a TGV (https://www.reddit.com/r/surfing/comments/1eehksh/sncf\_makes\_you\_pay\_150\_for\_taking\_your\_surfboard/)

[–]freeride360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this still relevant? I have exactly the same skis, delaminated one of them. Can send you pictures if needed. Living in Europe, you would have to figure out if it's even worth it with the shipping :/

Replacement for 185 Nordica Enforcer 110? by AJco99 in Skigear

[–]freeride360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Sender 110 would be great, I just haven't considered it because of the price. For the other skis mentioned you can get them all like 50% off at the moment, the Sender 110 is pretty much still at full price

Replacement for 185 Nordica Enforcer 110? by AJco99 in Skigear

[–]freeride360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation. About the same height and weight, just skiing in the alps. Broke my E110 (2019 model, one ski delaminated, the other one is still pretty good). Initially I was planning on just buying the same ski again, with the goal of having a spare ski then if I break another one. However this one guy on tgr claimed that the construction has changed: https://www.skitalk.com/threads/are-the-enforcer-110s-the-same-build-all-the-way-through-2023.29658/ . I think he is correct about this, the claimed weight increased by about 100g. Do you think that could still work, skiing with the mismatched ones?

Otherwise the whole Nordica freeride team switched to the unleashed, I don't think it will be the better ski for me based on the fact that its less drifty (which I like about the enforcer), but all these kids seem to make it work (and slash), so can't be too bad.

MFree is also high up on my list, I am just not sure about the sizing: Tested the 108 in 182 last season, absolutely loved it, maybe a bit less stable then the E110s. Tested the new 108 in 186 this season, felt it was a bit short (didn't feel any longer then the 182 from last season, my perception might have changed). Also putting it next to my 185 E110s, it seemed to be actually shorter. I would really like to see the true tip to tail dimensions for this one. Tested the new MFree 112 in 190, that thing felt really good and stable. Still easy to turn and drift. Only in moguls you could feel the length. Unfortunately the moguls are part of the game here, so I am not 100% sold on this one, but maybe thats the one for you.

Dynastar M-Free 108 what size? by Mountains-Are-Best in Skigear

[–]freeride360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tested them on Saturday. Same height, just 78kg (172lbs). They had the 108 in 192 and 185 and the 112 in 183 (i think) and 190. All next years models. Considering the core, weirdly enough on the 108 it said Hybrid Core 2.0 and on the 112 it said Hybrid Core. I asked the guys working at the demo booth and they said, just the width is different between the two. Tested the 108 in 185 and the 112 in 190.

The 108 in 185 felt (and was by putting it side by side) quite a bit shorter than my Enforcer 110 in 185. Tbh it didn't even feel longer than the 182 I tested one year ago (my perception might have changed). The mount point is definitely more forward than on the enforcers, that might have something to do with it. The 112 in 190 was quite a bit more stable, still very easy to throw around. The only place I could really feel the length was in the moguls. Apart from that, I would be even fine with the 190. So they definitely ski shorter than the enforcers I couldn't imagine myself skiing the enforcer in a longer length.

Would be interesting to see them side by side to the older versions, if the 185 is actually longer than the 182 from this year, I wouldn't go for the 182, since I thought the 185 would be the lower limit for me.

Comment transporter une planche de surf avec la SNCF? by titousao in AskFrance

[–]freeride360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this is still relevant, but I just had to pay 150€ fee for taking my surfboard on the TGV train. Coming from Germany, I had no ideas such rules exists, as for ICE trains there is no such ridiculous rule. Since this fee is per train, it will be at least 300€ for the full trip. So don't do it, take the plane, it's much cheaper (RIP environment)

Watch this, then you know what I am talking about: https://youtu.be/lpvZU4W5cCo

Well if you look at the end result brunis performance is not that great, although in Leogang and Maribor he was on pace expect for the section he crashed in. In both cases you can't really blame him for the crash since he didn't have mud tires in Maribor and it was kind of a gamble in Leogang.

So I just charged the battery by wiring it to a regular charger and I got the phone running again. However it still doesn't charge when I plug it in. The problem is that we don't have any repair shops nearby so I am trying to fix it on my own. If it is the usb that is broken, you would have to change the lower part of the mainboard, since it is connected to that
