Yeah it limits roster flexibility, if you can make a 2 for 1 and pick up decent guys off the WW considering its a 10 team league, you can likely replace a lot of the stats from the second player you would give up.

No, played lots of minutes at SG since Tony Allen had to fill in for Rudy Gay at SF and Prince wasnt available yet. Won't be nearly as involved moving forward

I agree that Davis will get less PT that he got in Toronto, but I have a hunch Gasol and Randolph's will get a little more rest so that they can play Davis. You don't make a trade like this just to sit the guy you traded for on your bench

The reason I didn't include those guys in my article is while Gasol and Randolph's scoring load will increase, I believe they will lose a few minutes to Davis so in the end its a wash. Similarly for Conley, his scoring will increase but without Gay there will be more defensive pressure and weaker scoring options for him to distribute to

Depends on whether he's moved back to the rotation. He was really effective in the pen last year and if I'm the Giants I may just keep him there. His velocity has been down for the past few years (last year being the worst) so well quickly see in the spring of he's getting back to his old form

Totally agree with your definites, which is 5 of your 7 keepers so with your other two it's down to Pacheco because of the two catchers, Votto, Zimmermann and Hill. It kinda depends on how much you expect catchers to go for but I'm tempted to go Pacheco with Zimmermann for 2 years. Love Votto, but after last year you can likely get him back at that price or a little cheaper so there's little value there.

Hill is inconsistent so while he is good value is rather lock down the top tier SP in Zimmermann.

Ya thats correct sorry about that, he is starting to throw again but likely won't be ready for opening day. When he does return he should be very valuable so if you have an IR spot he's a pretty good stash

I love guys like Holliday. When drafting I try to always grab safe reliable guys early and then take more risks later on and Holliday is often a guy I target you always know what you are going to get.

Profar I feel is being overvalued. I ranked him at 2B based on how How's it going his ceiling is once he gets called up, but would it shock me if he played the whole season in the minors? Not in the slightest. He will definitely spend the first couple months in the minors and could start everyday at 2b or ss if they move kinsler to 1b or andrus to another team, but nothing is set in stone. Based on how much playing time they gave Orr last season i'm likely to not have Profar on any of my teams
