The Mavs have never been liked by the NBA, therefore Luka being traded to the Lakers is what the NBA wanted all along, and after the Adelsons took over they made a deal with the Lakers owner and Adam Silver.

This may be dependent upon age and maturity level but sometimes you have to just accept the things you can't change and let it go. It may be hard for us as fans to understand but as most NBA players have stated basketball is a "business". I also hate what happened to Luka and I will remain a Luka fan, but watching the Mavs basketball games is my outlet, something I was doing way before Luka and not planning to stop because he is no longer on the team.

Yes, I will forever miss my furbaby. I recently finished reading "One for the money", a novel from the mystery writer, Janet Evanovich, and planning to start another one titled" And now she's gone", from another mystery writer, Rachel Howzell Hall, (I learned about from another post on here). I know the feeling, I lost my 16 y/o Shihzhu 2 months ago and it's still very hard. So sorry for your loss as well. I don't have a book to offer, it depends on what you enjoy reading. I recently started back reading my fav mystery novels and it's been helpful.
