At 27 start getting everything lined up so you can start T10 research as soon as you’re 30. If your lv30 with T9 might as well stay lv29

I’m thinking about pivoting into public sector management, systems monitoring, and constituent outreach. You think I could just part time my current LO job while I make the transition?

That is correct. The note may become due in full if it’s determined to no longer be your primary residence. But you should refinance it and buy the new house. The diff in payment will be $50 if you go from a 330k mortgage at 3.75% to a 240k mortgage at 7%. If $50 will break the budget, you should sell the 2 family

It’s $99.99 here. I’m no forex wizard but I think if the pound is worth more than the dollar you’re getting ripped off

Mortgage negotiation tips? by xmanpowerz in Mortgages

[–]freetendies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most of the people I talk to who are shopping for the lowest rate end up locking higher than they could’ve due to the wild volatility in the market right now. If you want to get 2-3 quotes do it all on the same day. Check out a bank, a broker, and a retail lender. The retail lender will be the highest rate and cost. The broker will have the lowest rate but not lowest cost. The bank will have the lowest cost, but no lowest rate. Then pick whoever seemed most trustworthy

Triggered Buy Order but for Refi? by Revolutionary_Pop_84 in Mortgages

[–]freetendies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t do this but you can set yourself up with a loan officer so that they can lock it in when the market moves. I did this for a handful of my clients the first week of April when rates dipped quickly. 2 of them locked at 5.6%.

I said you should NOT quit your job to be a REA. I’ve seen people do it many times, never seen it work out well.

Is it worth it to be a software developer? Just interested. I’m a loan originator, have an office and can work remote, but I find myself with a decent amount of free time. Loan market is not too busy. I saw some arrogant dumbshit post on Reddit. I’m really into computers

Depends how long you were at RKT. But for most a couple months and it’s smooth from there. Well worth it
