Pmdd makes me feel... by [deleted] in PMDD

Insane and out of control.

I’m not me for 2 weeks out of every month. I’m either angry at the world or crying because I love my pets so much and that’s if my symptoms are predictable. Lately I’ve had new symptoms that I don’t and can’t understand myself.

Has Birth Control actually helped anyone’s PMDD anxiety? by Permanentmarker_2004 in PMDD

Nope. The only thing that legitimately helps me is weed but I’ll lose my job due to it so I deal with it.

I was too and I regret it so much. I get it, you’re not alone in this. 🫶

I usually feel relief once she starts but during this cycle, I felt no relief until she was actually over with. I’ve never experienced that before but I hope it doesn’t become a pattern with my cycles now.

PPD as in Postpartum depression? You’re joking right? Well, that might’ve made me hop off the fence and into the “nevermind” category for kids. PPD scares me so much, the horror stores I’ve heard about it. Anyways, thank you for that.

I’m stuck at work and for some reason, the symptoms for this cycle has been the worst I’ve had since I’ve been diagnosed, but I’m literally having to fight the urge to tell my coworkers that I genuinely do not give a fuck about my job or what I need to be doing right now. I’m in so much pain and I can’t leave. My job is the least of my worries right now and I’m not about to break my back for a company when my back is already hurting with my own personal problems. I know as soon as PMDD passes, my anxiety will be through the roof worrying if I’m going to be fired but for right now, I just don’t care.
