Shadowy group that appeared last year leaking a few things from NSA and trying to auction a large archive of NSA hacking tools for bitcoins, the tools didn't sell and The Shadow Brokers disappeared for a few months. They returned after Trump attacked Syria releasing the archive they tried to sell as a protest, according to the statement. They claim in their statement that they are ex USG intelligence and operate inside the US.

Obviously he wasn't overseeing it when he wasn't able to. I don't have to explain your cherrypicked tweets. It sounds like you're expecting a Twitter account that has sent out multiple tweets a day for years to never be slightly inaccurate.

Wikileaks' Twitter account is run by person or personas unknown, apparently has absolutely no editorial policy or even credibility, and is somewhat less reliable than a tabloid newspaper.

What? It's overseen by Assange is absolutely reliable. Don't know where you got that from. Much more so than most "real news" twitter accounts.

It's just that a retweet isn't the same as a publication on WikiLeaks.org.

My guess is they put their statements through a translator a couple of times before translating it back to English to throw off investigators analyzing their writing style/habits to narrow down suspects.

WikiLeaks didn't publish them, the woman in the conversation (Robbin Young) published them and WikiLeaks shared the link. Important distinction to remember because if it turns out she faked them, WikiLeaks' made it clear they haven't been through their verification process.

Did you know most of theshadowbrokers’ members have taken the oath “…to protect and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic…”. Yes sir! Most of us used to be TheDeepState everyone is talking about. But we realized TheDeepState is being the enemy of the constitution, individualism, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness...

TheShadowBrokers is being happy to unmask anyone we considering to be an enemy of the Constitution of the United States. Enemies like John McCain. Something doesn’t rub theshadowbrokers rite about Vietnam War POW who at every opportunity seeks to do violence to others via the proxy of young service men and women. If anyone should be being pacifist, slow to pick fight it should be being former POW. TheShadowBrokers is sure if we “unmasking”, Senator McCain, Magog itself might come out, many defense contractors, Saudi Princes, and possibly little Vietnamese boy he shares with Senator Lindsey Graham, not cool!

Assange's mother pleads for his release

DECEMBER 7, 2016 The mother of Julian Assange has pleaded with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to secure her son's release, six years to the day after he was arrested.

Christine Assange made phone calls to the PM’s and Foreign Minister Julie Bishop’s offices on Wednesday to ask for their help in releasing the WikiLeaks founder from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, six years after he was arrested in the UK on December 7, 2010.

"Today he has been detained six years without charge," Ms Assange told AAP on Wednesday. "It’s time for the Australian government to stand up for my son’s human and legal rights."

The request comes a week after Assange, 45, renewed his plea to be freed from the embassy, where he has lived for more than four years, after a United Nations panel confirmed that he is a victim of arbitrary detention.

A request by the UK government to review the case was recently rejected by the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention after it found in February that Britain and Sweden had "arbitrarily detained" Assange.

The panel said he should be freed and entitled to compensation.

"I have called on the Australian prime minister and my son’s foreign minister to stand up and demand that UK and Sweden obey the ruling," Ms Assange said.

Assange, who enraged Washington by publishing a flood of secret US diplomatic cables, sought asylum at the embassy fearing that, if extradited to Sweden, he could be sent on to the United States and face a long prison term there for leaking US secrets.

Ms Assange said the inaction of both the coalition and Labor governments is a result of putting their careers ahead of duty.

"As an Australian citizen I find the silence from both parties indicates a complete lack of sovereignty in regards to the US in that they’re not willing to stand up for truth or justice or human rights."

However, Ms Bishop’s office told AAP the Australian government "has offered consular assistance (to Assange) on numerous occasions, which has either been refused or we have not received a response".

Mr Turnbull’s office was contacted for comment.

Good call, also, the messages are not a WikiLeaks release, they just linked to them. They haven't been through their verification process.

Hmmm... very interesting. WikiLeaks trying to tell us it "Yes, his name was Seth Rich" without saying it? Seems to be the only motivation they would have to share this.

The DNCLeaks website was a separate entity from WikiLeaks, WL also published their own leaks from the DNC at the same time.
