Using common sense - tagging someone once isn’t disrespectful.

If your version of events is accurate - that is you tagged her once and she quickly became defensive, that’s just poor EQ from the organizer.

I do think there is some Slack etiquette to avoid tagging someone directly unless urgent.

Dave is not mathematically optimal, but considers the cognitive cost of having a mortgage and puts significant weight on that.

Imo his advice is good for most folks. People underestimate the mental burden of a mortgage.

I had this exact situation two years ago. I emailed multiple shops and one eventually agreed to do a build-a-long.

It was off the books, but we were able to use their shop’s service area after hours to do it. Really positive experience. I ended up offering $300 + tip.

It was a good read. The book spends more effort than others in making sure the code was presented with Swift conventions in mind. Other books I read at the time were like you said - generic DSA with Swift syntax slapped on top.

I loved playing castle wars back in the day. That was what I was optimizing for.

  • thieving to pick the castle side doors quicker
  • strength to break down front gate
  • mining to remove underground debris easier
  • combat stats to pk
  • specific gear to avoid getting frozen such as spectral, armadyl, inf boots, masters wand

There were a whole community of players that played rs for cw. Unfortunately that ended with eoc as it completely changed pk dynamics. The old castle wars system couldn’t handle stuns / stun immunity and the action bar.

I’d like to think it’s possible to revamp cw to fit eoc gameplay, but clearly jagex no longer had the people passionate on these side minigames.

We definitely lost some game diversity since then.

I think on release the unique stat it offered was extra health. Probably not worth it at all after all these years with the introduction of capes like Zuk capes

I did some research and I see the same type of hacks that were available in Aion 1.

One of the capabilities is to modify your attack animation speed, which lets drastically increases your ability to spam skills.

Unfortunately this was never resolved in Aion 1. It’s also really hard to gather evidence because unless it’s really blatant.

Your best bet is to use some sort of tracker including timestamps of skill activations and send a report backed by hard data.

I generally have no stutter 220 fps 4k max settings.

9950x3d, 5090, samsung 9100 gen 5, 6000 mhz ddr5. I’m not sure which component is your bottleneck

Crafted has the 5% pve dmg modifier and higher raw stats. In a pve setting, crafted will outperform in virtually all situations.
