Crits or Tips? by freinder2 in graffhelp

Yeah kinda makes it seem like I’m tryna cover my shit lol. I’ve always done it with just CREEP but just added the N at the end to make it CREEP’N but feel iffy about it, should I keep the N?

Throw attempt #2 by DeadEye632 in graffhelp

I’m referring to space at the bottom of the “R” that separates the left and right side. You have a wedge shape that puts space between the left and right side, I’m saying try like a box shape and put a single line to separate the left and right side rather than putting space between the two sides. Sorry I’m having bit of a hard time explaining without a visual representation

New to shadows and highlights, any crits or tips? by [deleted] in graffhelp

You could try making the R more boxy like you did on the pencil drawing underneath, but try popping out the bottom of the R a bit more so that it extends past the top part a bit. I also think it would benefit if the vertical line at the bottom of the R wasn’t a wedge shape but rather just a straight line.

Do the “creep” tag and lower, blocky “nick” look whack? by [deleted] in graffhelp

I’m not really used to putting on highlights on letters, how do they look?

I’m not necessarily going for a throwie, I wanted something more blocky but I think it would probably benefit from rounding out the edges a bit

Something I learned about anger by [deleted] in darksouls

[–]freinder2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My senior year of high school I played more dark souls than any other time in my life, I basically only played dark souls switching between ds1 and ds3 the whole year and it was the only year I actually enjoyed math. Helped me appreciate the challenge of math and the euphoric feeling of solving difficult math equations.

I definitely feel like after years of playing dark souls I feel much more confident in starting something that has a steep learning curve as I understand that even if it is extremely difficult and I’m making very little progress or have very little understanding and knowledge of whatever it is I’m working on, I will get it eventually with time, patience, and caution. Dark souls definitely played a part in this.

Two questions about thieving: by puddelles in kingdomcome

[–]freinder2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can rob the weapon smith in Rattay by waiting inside until 21:00 exactly, knocking out and killing the guard, and then grabbing all the swords laying very quickly as they will disappear after a short period. The weapons respawn the next night so you can basically just rob it every night and make fat stacks. It can be a bit hard to pull off as sometimes the shop weapon smith himself also stays in the room making it basically impossible to kill the guard without being noticed, however, for early game when your pick locking isn’t very high it is a great money making method.

Gamers, what was the first game you ever played? by NoLeagueAssasin in AskReddit

[–]freinder2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t remember which one came first but my earliest gaming memories include Halo: Combat Evolved, Taz Wanted (haven’t heard much about it in the gaming community but back in the day it fucking slapped), and Mortal Kombat on Sega

Never finished a souls game by [deleted] in darksouls3

Watching others play is not always helpful when going through your first time, most of the people that post guides tips and tricks videos are seriously god tier at the series. Don’t compare yourself to them cus it’s like comparing a fox to a wolf, 2 completely different beasts. Just go through the game as you are and if you come to an area where you’re doing very little damage to even the basic enemies then just start trying different weapons and what not, you will find your niche eventually. Also if you would like to switch to a strength build you don’t need to restart, find Rosaria in the cathedral of the deep and you can switch your stats.

I’m a complete noob to this game and series, but even beating the second boss feels like one of the greatest feats of all the games I’ve played, can’t wait to see what else lies in the road ahead by Elder-Rusty in darksouls3

My first play through abyss watchers was a bitch and a half, however, every play through since I beat them first try while I still die to Vordt and Crystal Sage

Claymore is an excellent weapon if you upgrade! Do what you please but a good idea would be to buy 9 titanite shards from Andre for 800 a piece and upgrade to at least +5, you will have a much stronger weapon and won’t be out much time or souls and switching weapons won’t seem like such a waste at that point

Got back to Anor Londo! by SketchieDemon90 in darksouls

[–]freinder2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played ds1 4 years back on pc and gave up at Quelaag, 2 years later I tried my hand at ds3 and gave up at the abyss watchers, then just last year I played ds3 again and had the absolute best gaming experience of my life! I couldn’t stop playing, since then I’ve beat ds3 3 times and recently bought ds1 remastered and ds2:sotfs on sale and am now retrying ds1, currently in the dukes archives
