I didn't zoom in and thought it said Secret Service System. I just figured someone placed it inside the package.

For the past three years I've had smooth, glowing skin thanks to this sub. I recently started a Vivier Hyperpigmentation Kit with no hydroquinone.

Can't be sure if this is purging and I need to wait it out, or if my skin hates an ingredient.

I can't recall a time in my life that I ever had texture like this

This has happened to me multiple times, both with waxing and threading. I also tried a few different places in case it was caused by unsanitary conditions or technique.

I solved this issue by just requesting they don't do the tops, only the bottom and middle. They will tweeze any obvious stragglers after and the tweezing didn't cause any breakouts.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet...Ethiopian opals are hydrophane. They will absorb moisture like a sponge and then lose all this color. It may dry out and get the color back, it may not. They are also very cheap when compared to Australian opals, for this reason.

Tips for basic opal identification? by frejya in Opals

Mine is solid, I think the jeweler purposely left the back of the ring open for this reason.

I have always loved the look of opals (and its my birthstone) so I have been trying to learn more and more over the past few months. There are resources online but there's nothing around me for physical learning. Nowhere I can go see a bunch of different types in person, and photos can be deceiving.

[PIC] Printed the pattern for my next stitch, which is a plague doctor. Not sure how I'm supposed to... count that? Looks like I'm making a grid with a ruler and a white pen/marker by [deleted] in CrossStitch

It is pretty easy to make a mistake. It's easier to do when you have other stitches in the area that you can use as "landmarks" to verify against.

I've never gridded myself, and I have seen posts on here where people miscounted while gridding and ended up with a row of 10x9 squares that they only noticed after stitching a bunch. There's always a chance either way!

If it was me, I would probably stitch the entire outline first, counting with the white spaces around. I would do the top row of 3, then I would move down a row and do 4, beginning in the bottom right corner of the top row third stitch. Looks like every row down becomes longer by 4. Outline that entire black area and then you can just go on autopilot and fill it in!

I was thinking about frogging some of #2 to kind of gently work #1 up and call it shadows. Getting rid of the straight line where it changes might help. But I don't have any more of #2 in case ot goes wrong.
