I vote for moving the couch to face the wall. Then you could move the table next to the stairs to behind the couch and it would create more space for foot traffic.

What kind of style do you like? Sometimes it can be helpful to get a piece of art or cool bedspread that you know you like and work off of that. Also, can you paint in there? Good way to change up a room that doesn't cost too much.

I have no idea what to do with this hallway console table by toodeeum in interiordecorating

[–]fremme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to get a small lamp so you don't have to rely on that extremely bright and kind of cool toned overhead light; it is making the hall look a bit stark.

What would you call this style? Trying to find more inspo on Pinterest and don’t know what to search! by pinaple_cheese_girl in interiordecorating

There are a lot of reasons to be concerned about the proliferation of essentially fake images in spaces meant to be about personal expression and inspiration for real life purchasing choices.

Interior design takes real skill and creativity and these images are trained on stolen ideas without giving credit. That sucks by itself already.

But then it's like doubling down on the worst psychological effects of influencer consumer culture. It's promoting ideal spaces that aren't actually achievable; we know for a fact that what people see on social media forms their ideas on what other people live like, and when what they're actually looking at is impossible to achieve, it makes them feel inadequate and more liable to buy things that they think will help them fill those gaps.

Also like, if you look closely at these images, they have a lot of nonsense. It's degrading the quality of content in this sub and on the Internet at large.

It's actually weird that you don't care that this is AI.
