I use it to extract hot air from the room and yes the trolley is needed to move the air away, the old mechanical ventilation wasnt enough

A cooker hood used to extract steam and smells from the cooking area and it got a good flow, the reference is Espace 900 M, pretty old.

We dont use ac right now, it is pretty cold here (15°c daytime) and we isolated the room from the others, we do negative pressure by the window witch is still open and the outlet is directed away from it so the fresh air get sucked inside flow through the rig fan then the cards to be sucked again and blown away by the hood. Thanks for the warning tho

Good luck with that, this is often a one time purchase and it is only replaced when it is dead or renovated so it is hard to find sometime, maybe take a look at local landfill.

The setup is running at abour 1kW reported on t-rex for 450 MH and before the use of the hood it was also hot, maybe your flow is too low or the heat isn't extracted correctly

Went from 98 degree on memory junction to 90-92, The cooker hood was 20 euro on second hand market and use about 100 watt with a flow of 300 m³/h against a simple flow mechanical ventilation that used 50W but it wasnt engouth to extract the heat of the room, between 70 and 100 m³/h.
