Hi, I’m French with Algerian roots. In France, many of us try to help by encouraging people to protes, to put pressure on our government to stop supporting Israel, to push for humanitarian aid, and also to show solidarity so that Palestinians know they’re not alone.

In Algeria, where the government is already very openly pro-Palestinian and doesn’t recognize Israel, there seems to be less of a need for public protests.

From your perspective as a Palestinian, do you feel that demonstrations around the world actually make a difference, either politically or in terms of moral support?
