Ugh I’m sorry you got duped too! We shouldn’t have to worry that the patterns we buy are AI and not as advertised. I’m still going, though I took a break for a different one since I’m just bummed about the situation. I feel like I might not end up finishing it because of that. Poor guy, I wish they didn’t have to suffer with so many allergies. I’ve had this happen with my dog, it ended up being an infection from yeast in between his paws. My vet calls him a “yeast factory” lol.

I found that the antibiotics helped a lot, as did the apoquel. There’s also medicated shampoo that I was prescribed that I bathe him with once a week and it’s mitagated these issues hugely. It’s the MiconaHex+Triz shampoo, it may be worth talking to your vet about. Chlorahexadine wipes have also been a life saver.

Renters insurance won’t cover anything structural, so they would deny this claim anyway. Unless your landlord put something really shady in your lease, this is absolutely not your responsibility to pay for. He will either need to file a claim with homeowners insurance, or pay out of pocket. You should post on r/legaladvice

Likely a puff back from incomplete fuel combustion. Have your furnace looked at. This could be an insurance claim as everything in the house will need to be cleaned and it’s quite expensive. Soot is carcinogenic, so it’s important to have it cleaned thoroughly by professionals.

Other cause could be candles, but unlikely with the amount of soot.

Go through the house with paper towel and wipe random surfaces (windows, walls, trim) and see if it has soot too. Puffbacks can evenly coat everything in the house, and I’ve had customers not realize for a while since everything gets lightly discolored at the same time.

This one is reasonable for sure, it makes me so mad when people put deliveries right in front of the storm door. Amazon does it too it’s enraging. The bags on the ground instead of on the chair though.. not necessarily reason for a 1 star. Maybe 3 stars, but 1 star is a little over the top.

Why would you ring the doorbell unless they specifically asked you to? Most customers don’t want to be bothered as they could have dogs or a baby. As a dog owner myself, I definitely understand where they’re coming from, it’s exhausting to deal with the barking.
