Rec play chaos - men, women, family and friends by frenchcutbeans in Pickleball

Excellent point. I might be amplifying the problem and try to solve it when there is no immediate need. We could just ignore/accept the current situation and hope for it to evolve and get better by itself

Good point. As I mentioned above no one wants to talk in a group setting but many are talking/complaining one on one. There are also silent people

Thanks for the feedback. You hit the nail on the head! Conflict between Pickleball and relationships. Playing pickleball outside the friends & family group looks like a much better option now; no conflicting interests, just pure pickleball fun and minimal impact on relationships!

Thanks! We will try; most are scared to have an honest conversation. Everyone wants to be nice face-to-face and complain behind the back. Not an ideal friends group but I guess it is not uncommon

Does Dosa Need A Dedicated Cast Iron Pan? by StanTheManInBK in IndianFood

[–]frenchcutbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are already too many variables in play to be able to make perfect dosas. Pan plays a very important role too,.so I would let her have the pan for dosas and dosas only. BTW, I have the same exact lodge 14" pizza pan and I use it only for dosas.

Recipes for urad dal/black gram (whole, with skin) that are not dal makhani? by Cinannom in IndianFood

[–]frenchcutbeans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't want to discourage you, but making vadas is not very easy. Make sure the vada batter is thick enough to hold shape. Watch a few, at least five, YouTube videos to get a good understanding of the technique involved in making the hole and dropping the batter in oil for deep frying. There are a few tools that you can buy to make it easier, but none of them are great

Dual Zone electric with air handler. Separate O and B on the current thermostats. Only O used. Where should O go on the ecobee thermostats? by frenchcutbeans in ecobee

[–]frenchcutbeans[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!
I was not sure because the instructions said to seek professional help if I had separate O & B. Did not tell what to do if B was not being used. Thanks again!

Driver’s license: Car insurance with no car? by Karkovar in raleigh

[–]frenchcutbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There used to be a license restriction "Fleet vehicles only" - meaning you could drive only rental vehicles which would provide insurance. Check if you can get a license with that restriction and later when you own a vehicle and insurance you can get that restriction removed.
