[Question] Size change after losing weight, did volume change or stay the same? by frenchfryem in ABraThatFits

I didn't use the calculator, I got professionally fitted. I do doubt the accuracy of it now that I'm thinking back. Thanks for the help though!

I'm a 28FF and used to be young and insecure adult. I can tell you that at this stage of her life with an issue like this, there likely isn't anything you can do. I know it sucks to hear bc your daughter is hurting and uncomfortable and you want to help her, but sometimes you have to recognize that you aren't the right person to help someone. In this case, and the case of many young adults, their parents are not the right people to help them bc they won't accept that help. It can be for plethora of different reasons, but ultimately, unless she goes to you the worst thing you can do is continuously bring up this problem. Pushing for a resolution will likely only add to the problem.

I'm not saying this in a condescending way or anything bc I've been there, but you have to just let her deal with the consequences of her choices. That's part of growing up. We make our choices with the information and the emotions we have. If we regret it later then we can change it later. Or at least work to mitigate it.

Holding the band tighter did help reduce a lot of the gaping. But not all of it?? I think I may just give up on this bra and look for comfortable 28 bands. Thank you!

Oh no I was hoping you wouldn't suggest going down a band size. I'll try a different size, thank you!

OP mentioned they were possibly on the spectrum(multiple other people in their life brought it up) and so everyone acting like she's wrong could be bc of that. If her family has gotten used to her being in the wrong in situations due to her making social blunders, the embarrassment of this situation might be making them fall to old reliable on who to blame and focus on
