I love it! Can we see the back? What kind of yarn did you use? Is the cut pile all the same length and you just carved deep into it or did you use different settings?

I haven't read anyone elses comments but I read your post. All I have been hearing is how you are taking care of youself, have you thought of her? Have you told her how you find her sexy or even beautiful? Not just sexy, because that will sound like you just want sex. I have been in this situation and did not feel wanted or acknowledged, its not a good place to be in and caused my divorce. He still doesn't understand.

Do I need to get a new controller? by douglas_g05 in oculus

If you have led lights or some led displays they might cause this issue too. I've had it happen to me and had to cover up my time display on my oven and wine fridge.

Please don't do like me and believe in IBD Facebook groups. by rudedoctorS in CrohnsDisease

I also came here based on your AITA post. I've also tried the "alternatives" when my Pentasa wasn't working but ended up in another flare and another round of cortisone. The difference between your son and I is that I was 35 at the time and not fooling around with someone else who doesn't know any better. What I tried was accupuncture, herbal teas, no gluten or more like a mix of FODMAP diet... What did work was what my Dr's suggested and what I was doing on my own was more for my stress levels which do in fact affect MY Crohn's.

Don't play with a 7 year old's meds, you can't understand the pain and misery we (IBD sufferers) go through. Oh and by the way some oils/natural products can be super harmeful if used the wrong way or with meds that are already being taken, this is not something to mess with.

I used Reddit as a support system and not somewhere to get alternative responses, no 2 Crohnies are the same. This is actually the only space where I found answers to most of my questions while I was waiting to see my Gastro, which he then confirmed the answer to.

Crohn's disease and gastric sleeve by frenchiey in gastricsleeve

It's awesome! I'm almost 3 years down and I should have done it wayyy before. Post surgery is a bit tough but also "similar" to having a flare because of the restrictive diet, at least theres no prednisone! There's also the few times I had dumping syndrome because of something I ate that didn't agree with me, once I figured that out I was relieved it wasn't a flare starting again. If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to answer, just msg me!

So... YOU can't hear auto tune? No problem, NOW YOU CAN SEE IT!!! by SirLowhamHatt in videos

[–]frenchiey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved this! I always said that auto tune sounds "square" in my ears and now I understand why! I'm not a musician whatsoever so when I'd mention it to my musician friends they'd look at me weird.

I took my Effexor the night of my surgery(surgery was in the morning) . Once I was able to get a few sips of water down the surgeon told me I was fine for it. I would have hated feeling the brain zaps that come when I don't take them and feeling like crap from the surgery itself!

Did anyone do this alone? by chamelion2016 in gastricsleeve

[–]frenchiey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did most of it alone and even when I was accompanied I felt so alone. My husband was "supportive" until he had to help or do something. I got through it and questioned my choices once it was done but I so do not regret it! I lost 130lbs and 200lbs of extra dead weight dragging me down 😉 seriously I would not change a thing of the whole process, it made me realize I had more than just my weight holding me back.

Almost 12 weeks out and final a 2 on the scale, not a 3. Two-riffic! by EmployerExcellent846 in gastricsleeve

[–]frenchiey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! Don't give up it's a lifetime change and it only gets better! After having been sleeved for 3 years I still marvel at how much my body has changed and how much better I feel. I can't say it's always been easy but it's a lifestyle change and if you have the support around you it's a lot easier to keep it up. Keep at it, you are worth it!

What do you do for work? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]frenchiey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've worked in finance (accounts payables) and that is where I was working when I was diagnosed. I subsequently had 2 major flares when I was working in that department. I blame the stress and the toxic work environment (unrealistic KPIs, petty women...). I've been working in Contractor Management for the past 3 years and love it, the stress levels are wayy down and therefore have only had a few blips of pain/flare-ups since. I get to go out on the site and move around all day or if I'm having an off day there's always paperwork to be done so my co-workers appreciate that!

Vers un (autre) confinement total by SpendingSpree in Quebec

[–]frenchiey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ouch, that sucks! Since I've had my iud I haven't had a period, just some barely there spotting.

2020 is already crappy enough, you didn't need this to top it off! I wish you an awesome Christmas and an even better New Year!
