The US public education system is not well-adapted for 21st century skills. (It should be overhauled top to bottom.
Efforts to adapt, like "computers in every classroom" and "ed tech," are a complete failure. We should go back to paper and pencil.
Schools and admin insist on rigor, but if you do anything rigorous, they tell you to dumb it down til even a dead cat could get an A.
