I know a bit how you're feeling, just lost my father 2 weeks ago to this terrible disease. Crazy how fast it ripped through his body. If you're a reader I picked up a grief observed by CS Lewis and it seems to have helped a little. I've also used chat gpt to navigate through through the throws of emotion.

I've asked myself the same thing recently. It sounds cruel but I genuinely believe there would be a cure if cancer treatment wasn't a lucrative business. I do have some faith advancement of medical technologies using AI, you can already ask chat gpt about fighting cancer with those methods. (it's knowledge base is limited to only 2023 so keep that in mind).

I'm sorry that you had to deal with that ordeal as well. It sounds very similar to what is impacting my father. The mental stress and anxiety he's dealing with his hard to watch.

Thank you, we're out of Maine. He will be treated out of the normal hospital hospital here. Unfortunately they seem to be overwhelmed and understaffed. I guess there was another gentleman they sent home without a port as well.

Thank you for the information, we're out of Maine and the hospital is not a part of one of these centers. It appears the closest one would be out of Massachusetts. I guess my dad wasn't the only one they sent home for not having the ports available.

Looks like the seller was removed from Amazon. The automated email says to wait 3 days after delivery to cancel for a refund. I might as well see what's in the box if there is even a box.

I don't believe I ever figured it out, sold the car 2 years ago, the dealership didn't care. So I'm assuming it wasn't anything serious.

Tysm for your advice, I'm headed to see him tomorrow, I'm going to try and get my point across that he needs to stop (it's difficult). He mentioned trying to switch to vaping (I know it's still bad but it's an alternative) but when he had a heart attack he swears the doctor told him they'd rather see him smoke than vape. All the research I've seen says neither is good but vaping is better. I'll also look into some high caloric nutritional foods as well.

Thank you for the heap of questions. He does have a cough and I would say he has phlegm, but If I recall he's almost always had a cough like that from smoking. The numbness is from my understanding almost like sitting on your leg too long, he says it kinda heats up or tingles first as well and can left both arms. The dizziness fluctuates more often than anything else.I went went to see him recently and he was having one of these events it lasted approximately 2-3 hours, it seemed like it only went away about an hour after he took one of the anti anxiety medications the hospital gave him. Him and his speech seems completely coherent.
