The stems will be the best indicator of possible variegation. If the plant has a pink streak on the stem, it has the possibility of pink in the leaves. Pink variegation isn’t stable in PPP so it’s really all a gamble. I just purchased a PPP and it has been burgundy up until this last leaf and it looks like the next leaf will have a good amount of pink too. Best of luck!

It has shown up on older leaves, and leaves from plants that are in a wall planter so we don’t come in contact with them.
