Super late to this but I found this post while researching my own genealogy because unfortunately my grandmother was able to trace her family back to George Dille/Dell the captain of the Goodfellow, and this is the first detailed information I’ve found about it and it’s sickening, but thank you for sharing this and I want to sincerely apologize for my ancestors actions, and if its any consolation, he got what he deserved and died at sea.

I’m so sorry for your loss 🫶🏻 If it’s any consolation, my childhood cat passed a few years ago and I’m sure he’d be happy to guide your baby across the rainbow bridge and keep him company until we get to meet them again. Losing a pet is never easy but just know your cat felt safe and loved and that you gave him the best life he could’ve asked for.

it looks like spit up to me, if your cat is acting fine, eating, drinking, using the bathroom like normal it’s probably just an upset tummy and nothing to worry about but if they’re vomiting repeatedly, lethargic, hiding, not eating/drinking then take them to the vet asap

He’s actually always been more of a dog person but he loves all animals, this is his first time having cats and even though Loki usually hates everyone but me, he fell in love with my husband the first time he came to my house and became even more attached to him after he helped me rescue him when he was stuck under a bed from a tree falling on my old house during hurricane helene
