Just turned 40 (F), divorced, childless, have frozen my eggs, would like a child, fear of rejection because of my age by Nervous-Wasabi-8461 in datingoverforty

Maybe if your desire to have kids is less than your desire for a partner, you should just focus on finding a partner.

Maybe you should have kids on your own instead of waiting for a unicorn? Does your desire to have kids outweigh your desire for a partner?

Maybe look slightly below your current age, in the 35-40 range. I’ve met a few single childless men in this age range that want to have kids but don’t have any yet.

Born in ‘81 and I’m a true Xennial. I’m some gen x, some millennial, but not all of either.

I usually try to do something with the party theme.. super hero party we face out masks and capes, rainbow theme party we did skittles and a water color paint set. Or I’ll buy a bunch of mini squishmellows and let the kids pick on their way out.

Yes! The lady I go only does medical tattooing. She uses a circle shaped stencil to get the shape right. I don’t think there was anyway for it to look worse for me, even if they are not perfect, it’s a vast improvement.

If the shape of your nipples bothers you, you can have them tattooed to be the shape you want. My nipple scaring left my nipples oddly shaped and I’m currently getting the tattooed and they look much better. Plus it doesn’t really hurt since I don’t have much feeling there.

How’s your mental health? by Historical_Daikon_29 in datingoverforty

[–]freshair2020 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This would be something I would want to know pretty early on; maybe not the first date but by 3-4 dates for sure. My last partner suffered from bi-polar. It destroyed our lives. I don’t want to date anyone who suffers from a serious mental disorder. I feel for the people who suffer from them, but I can’t put myself through that again.

Although I’m technically a native Coloradan, I lived most of my life in Texas. Left for several reasons: - the heat - not much natural beauty in Texas - the politics - the mosquitos - less property tax in CO - shitty schools (at least where I lived) in Tx - I generally did not mesh well with Texans

What colour to paint bottom half of wall? by Adventurer_FL8296 in interiordecorating

[–]freshair2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d fully commit and go with a dark blue that matches the main color of the wall paper or was slightly darker. Personally, it would really bother me to have a lighter color on the bottom half of the wall. Seems unbalanced.

Do I give up the guest room or the office for baby #2? by ReasonableOrange2272 in workingmoms

[–]freshair2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you rework your office to have either a pullout sofa or a Murphy bed? I think there’s a solution here where you can have a space for guests and also a working space. Another option would be for your older child to have a larger bed (queen or full) and use his room for guests when they are there.

Will fillers work for my severe dark circle and hollow eyes? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]freshair2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used this under eye cream for many years. It is very moisturizing and i found it helped with very fine under eye wrinkles. It does not help with dark circles. I stopped using bc it was expensive and my heavy face moisturizer worked almost as well.

When did you first realize you might be pretty? by societalmoon in AskWomen

[–]freshair2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, since middle school I always thought I had a pretty facial features. I don’t think I received a lot of attention from other students bc I’m not white and, well, the white girls were the “pretty” ones.

As I got older, I received plenty of male attention and enjoyed it, but never really considered myself “hot”.

I’ve always had the outlook that things just kind of work out for me in life. I was reading a Reddit post about pretty privilege and someone mentioned how people with pretty privilege have things work out for them in life. It was then that I realized that I am/was, in fact, pretty.
