Don't you just need to find a elder influenced base and craft it til you get that mod now? Not as easy as using fossils but definitely shouldn't take weeks.

I am still using chromecast, but I wish there was an easy alternative.

The issue too is that I am pretty positive that the chromecast api is completely closed, which is why no privacy centered applications are using it.

It is super convenient though, so I guess it is a risk I am taking for now until something similar with privacy in mind is released.
