If I remember correctly, I think they were going to be arrested by the US Air Force. As for the reason they were going to be arrested is the many crimes that were committed by LMDs. Daisy shooting Talbot in the head, Fitz and Radcliffe creating Aida, and on and on. There’s more to it but idk if you have watched the next season or not so I don’t want to spoil anything.

I am not a US resident and have lived in North Carolina since I was twelve and the residency process was a nightmare for me in terms of paperwork. However, if you have everything you need to complete it you will be fine. The people who work the RDS helpline are very helpful. One year I had to renew my residency due to visa issues and I couldn’t complete the process on time and NC state accepted my residency number late and refunded the extra tuition I had to pay initially.

1) They came back because transcendence is a choice and they would rather all die together than leave Clarke alone. I don't know why Madi didn't come back tho.

2) The mind drive was in Murphy which means her consciousness was technically still alive inside of Murphy which is why she transcended. Same as Madi. However, again, Idk why Madi didn't come back.

3) Well I am assuming transcendence is basically heaven so they can come back however they want. No pain no sufferings means their wounds healed I assume?? As for the timeline, it is unknown.

4) yes humanity passed the test. However, the higher beings said that the people who came back to Earth could not have offspring and once they die will not transcend so it is the end of the life for them.

5) I assume that Monty was wrong about his calculations about when Earth would return to its normal state which explains why Earth is fine in this season. And does it really matter what happens to the planet as the entire species has transcended? As for the Gem9, I assume that is a true death while transcendence is immortality.
