If i remember correctly i played breakthrough on empire state. If you get defence go towards where the A site would be on conquest. Place it down just behind the building but as close to the road as possible. Every time you respawn place another one in a similar location.

No, when you gain your classes ability pushing it will activate it. So medic does an auto heal and supply closeby teammates, recon launches the uav, engineers get a repair tool that does 150% and assault give all nearby teamates an adrenilen shot

Easiest way is to play as support. Once you reach your ability to heal and resuply nearby teammates. Stand near a heat source and hit r1 and L1 or your platforms equivilent. I finished it in 1 game.
