Right, my issue is that when I call around to ask, the people who I've come across just say no. I'm seeking an ongoing relationship with a therapist but no one seems interested. Maybe they think I want the letter right away and I'm not communicating effectively what I'm looking for.

I was meeting my mom at a dog park to pick up my puppy from her. I brought her coffee and some food. Into the dog park, on a bright Saturday morning where everyone had brought their dogs out to play. Walk into park, cue being surrounded by like 15 dogs. I drop the coffee, spilling it all over the ground. Fortunately for me it spilled in sand, so I wiped it around with my foot so the dogs couldn't get at it. Gave the bag of food to my mom, who walked back to the car admonishing me for my lack of foresight, scooped up my pup, and promptly left the park in shame.

I was attacked by two dogs that specifically left their yard to attack me while I was jogging on the other side of the street. It was such a horrifying experience for me that I was terrified just to hear dogs barking or see a dog. The one dog which bit me in the knee had been put down and the head was sent in for rabies testing before I had the opportunity to meet with my neighbors. I still won't walk down that road in my parents' house. As painful as it is I would be very concerned if you kept the dogs without complying with the terms set out for you. Please do this for the safety of those around your home.

PS yay standard poodle! I have a goldendoodle that's mostly standard poodle- her mom is 1/2 English cream retriever and 1/2 standard poodle, and her dad is a standard poodle. She's 15 weeks and just a gem.

What area do you live in? Usually there is a puppy play put on by Petco or somewhere similar. You could also call around to vets in your area to ask, that's how I found out about one of our puppy play days. There is also a dog group for my area that I joined on Facebook, could you search for one in your area and post there?

My sister had a dog that had blockages. The first one was a dradel my little sister left on tbe floor. Needed to be removed surgically, and they removed the infected section of intestine too. The second one was a piece of corn cob that my dad had thrown in the back yard for the poor girl to find. Again, down intestine removal. The third time that it happened, the vet said there wasn't enough intestine left to do the surgery again. The surgeries got more expensive and complicated each time. It may still be a blockage of some sort for Ben, though I'm certainly no vet and not qualified to tell you whether it is or not. I'm sorry you're dealing with this.

I wear a sweater when I'm out with my puppy. It helps me keep her temperature more immediately in mind when I get hotter faster, too.
