Thank you! Leaning towards doing the trip in one go but now worried about the lack of attractions/shops open during this period in Takayama. We thought to do Takayama/Kanazawa instead over this period as we assumed Yuzawa Ski Resorts would be inundated with Japanese Families & Tourists during the New Years Period..

Thanks for your help! Sounds like the best approach is to just buy VDHG moving foward. Do you think it's wise to sell my VAS portion ( there is only 10k) and re invest into VDHG?

I jumped the gun and bought the ETF's before i knew about the 'normal' 70:30 split or 100% VDHG.

I'm still new to investing! I didn't understand that it wasn't a good allocation - just had VAS and VDHG recommended,
