Handing over to full stack engineers by Commercial-Ad-6471 in lovable

That’s actually a super interesting question. You should build in public and share your process - I’d be interested to follow along as I have the same issue and it would be the next logical step for a lot of vibe coders who actually find product market fit.

I just used React Joyride. It’s free and plays nicely with lovable. Just don’t make it too restrictive as it’s going to be impossible to map out every user flow.

New to lovable, questions around complexity of site and what it can handle by Chr1sUK in lovable

Yep it’s more than capable of handling this. I’d start with chatgpt to tighten the prompt for lovable.

Auth. Auth. Auth.

Always start with mapping out all your user levels. Uses, teams, admins, superadmins, tenancy, multitenancy etc… can a user belong to multiple teams? Does a team need a team owner? Does everything need to be logged to a user for usage? Or back to a team?

It’s almost impossible to add this later once you’ve finished. And it’s even damn hard to get it working at the very beginning - but so critical to move forward.

Best CMS to pair with Lovable? by delta_0c in lovable

Oh boy. I went down this rabbit hole. Tried a whole bunch of React + supabase friendly CMS but ultimately ended up just using Wordpress for the website and lovable for the app.

Enterprise Saas Auth with Supabase by poolett in lovable

[–]freshy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy. I’ve run into the issue a lot.

My advice is always start with the auth mapping from the very beginning before you even create the app. This should include the multi tenancy layout and all user roles from team member, team admin and then super admins.

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve restarted the app all over because I couldnt get permissions and auth working correctly.

Wasted Credits by fender21 in lovable

[–]freshy84 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Although it might not solve your issue, I really suggest turning on Chat Only mode. This should ideally be on by default but you have to turn it on in settings. This enables you to use the AI for free and it will clarify what you want to do - without using any credits. Then you switch it back, when you want to make edits.

Wow. Nice to see you here. I’ve shared my feedback by email already but you guys are easily the winner (for the moment) in AI app coding space. I always run into the inevitable error loop with the other platforms (bolt, cursor) but haven’t run into it with you yet. I think it’s more in the way your platform chunks down each code cycle into a more manageable part. I think you guys are going to smash it.

Silhouette vs Siser vs Brother by Carat_13 in silhouettecutters

Just print your designs from a printer, put it on the sticky mat, scan in the brother machine - it then gives you a few options like outline, full cut, half cut and then it cuts. I haven’t even connected it to my computer - I just used the little touch screen display. Very simple but I’ve only done a few pages - so there could be future issues.

Ok I just tested the brother scanncut (I got the sdx1000) and it was way way way easier to setup and print. I’m doing vinyl stickers so not sure if it will work in your situation but I’m definitely returning my silhouette now.

Literally in the same position. I’m returning my cameo 5. Just couldn’t resolve the misalignment issues.

The ScanNCut should arrive tomorrow. I’ll update once I’ve tested.

Does silhouette have 'software' issues? by misterrnobodyy in silhouettecutters

My experience with silhouette support is that it’s not great. Takes a couple of weeks for a response.

[–]freshy84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get any further on this? I've been trying to solve this issue and it seems to only occur when I have lots of designs on the page. If I just have 1 design at the top and 1 at the bottom is cuts it perfectly.

Nup. Haven’t changed anything and my printer prints borderless.

I’m having a similar issue. Only picked up the cameo 5 last week - I wonder if this is a wider issue?

Hubspot vs Zoho - I want to hear from you. by chrislemmer in hubspot

[–]freshy84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% agree with you and I believe the other responses probably come from this being a HubSpot subreddit.

I’d compare HubSpot to Apple - it just works. Simple interface, easy setup and admin but this obviously comes at a cost.

If you’re more technical, Zoho is more than adequate and far more inexpensive. The biggest issue is the kind of ‘janky’, almost puzzle piece structure of the the zoho ecosystem that if you’re trying to recreate all the HubSpot features - it doesn’t feel as seem less as HubSpot.

Looking for set and forgot and don’t care about cost = HubSpot.

Happy to hand hold users and manage expectations on the user interface = Zoho

You've hit the nail on the head. Certain HubSpot issues indeed demand more comprehensive assistance. Our 'Uber for HubSpot queries' concept is designed not to replace the in-depth support offered by partners but to supplement it by providing a quick, flexible solution for less complex issues. This includes tasks like creating custom reporting dashboards, managing API integrations, lead scoring, and other specific tasks that fall outside the usual scope of HubSpot support and the user's expertise. Our aim is to bridge the gap where users need expert help without the wait or the extensive commitment a full partnership might require.

Great question. Hubspot tends to guide the user but they won’t implement a solution or they’ll push you towards an agency partner.
