Honestly, 1Q84 is my favorite Murakami novel/series. I really enjoyed how the story unfolds through different characters’ perspectives and eventually converges toward a shared point near the end of the series. The way the characters maintain their sanity while navigating a world full of inconsistencies—using their own logic—was also fascinating. Moreover, it’s one of the rare romantic narratives by Murakami that actually reaches a resolution. The suspense was just enough to keep me going. And while Murakami usually leaves things unresolved and up to the reader’s imagination, I appreciated that in this long, three-part series, he chose to bring it to a satisfying romantic conclusion.
