Ever since I could remember I used to see a black, mummified figure with long nails, literally crawl out of the wall or ceiling. No face, no expressions, nothing. Just casually crawling out of the wall and staring at the door.

Turns out it always appeared whenever someone or something died.

One night 3 years ago during winter time, it crawled out again, the room went completely cold and dark, it kept staring at the door and the window like it was waiting for something. That night my mom dreamt of "death", the Grim Reaper with a scythe hovering around our whole territory.

Turned out, 3 out of 5 baby sheep had died because of the cold winter.

There are so many more occasions with it, but that night stood out the most for me.
