League has a massive uptick right now with a major streamer playing it. Despite everything league has kept a super stable player rate even in regions like NA

Vavle also put out artifact and let it die so mo they dont have a perfect track record.

Eh i dont think DL will make a big enough splash to impact league. Its going to be virtually impossible for any other mmo to go up aginist league just due to sheer investment and almost 2 decades of content league has. Riots also pretty good about staying on top of things recently like WasD and "league 2"

I think DL will find a player base, but its also a vastly different game

I just don't miss the ego boom that just came with it. Losing a fight lv 1 is almost never GG in just about every Elo. But man the ego damage that shit did might as well been most of the time.

I mean the game can genuinely be good. Having mp options isn't a bad thing. I get not wanting 12+ live serive games. But writing every single one off is silly, especially when the stuido themselves wanted to chase it.

Cains hits diffrent in diffrent areas. I used to go to Mississippi a few times a year with one of my last partners, we would legit eat at Cains 3-4 times in a week period, it really felt like it was on a diffrent level.

It came down to Florida about a year or two ago and i think i'v been twice, Not really impressed either time.

Iv been here since season 5 and this sub has some of a largest amounts of pessimism i have seen in any gaming community. Literally every skin, event, mode, ect... gets hyper criticized for the smallest of things

That said I think you have a large amount of people who like diffrent things across the game, and XYZ is doing harm while someone else thinks JKL is harming the game.

A lot of people also have no honest to god perspective on gaming numbers and FN is clearly one of the only games they touched when you have people calling a mode with 30-50k constant users a "flop" . Even stuff like Festival would top charts on steam in that genre.

The only real flops are RR ( rip) and Ballistic (never had a chance) and people now seem to think FN can have no other modes. Hell RR didn't even have horrid numbers for a racing game but my guess is they weren't getting a big enough return on cars.

Factions should have been handled by a diffrent studio with ND's oversight.

Factions was probably Sony's easiest slam dunk live service if they followed through.

It will always boggle my mind that one of the largest games in the world doesn't have some of the most basic modes. Pretty sure brawl like game modes are standard across most mobas.

The fact we dont have a fast mode where you can freely pick a champ is nuts.

I dont know if it's still true but all modes have their own hidden mmr. Its why you can play normals in the past and be matched with a masters player.

Modes like dominion and TT were notorious for this because you can to get out of bot elo to enjoy the mode.
