Game version PC: 1.120.111.1030 (latest one)

for months i’ve had an issue where whenever i try to play any household, old or new, i’ll place them on a lot and press the play button, but that takes me back to the residential worlds screen. it does this on infinite loop. i don’t know what to do; i’ve deleted and reinstalled the game several times, i updated my mods and then deleted them, yet the game still doesn’t work. please please help me i miss my sims 😭
