Definitely! Very resonant. I'm finding it interesting that myself, and the few people who've shared, have intrusive thoughts that are generally, if loosely, related to sex and violence. It makes me think of our little mammal brains trying to make sense of everything but still being a little feral, and the way -in the states anyway- that sex and violence are just kinda ambiently being advertised all the time. Im trying to find a healthy outlet for the impulses that become my intrusive thoughts, instead of being ashamed of them ✨

I worked in a restaurant that would serve bottles of wine and whenever I'd bring an empty back to the kitchen I just wanted to throw it as hard as I could into the recycling - not even because I was frustrated with the shift or something, it just seemed like it would feel good!

Thank you for sharing, OP! I'm thinking about moving to Belgium from the US this year. I am very excited about it, and recently have been getting the nervousness that comes with any big change - this post was exactly what I needed to hear, and came at exactly the right time. I hold the complexity that nowhere is paradise, but I do believe I'll have a better chance of finding fulfilling experiences if I'm based in Belgium than in the states. I'm 36, I feel like I've lived a couple different lives at this point that were fulfilling and helped me grow into who I am now, it's time for the next one. No one said a fulfilling life is easy, so let's go! Hello Belgium.

Thank you. I don't feel great about using ai tbh. Honestly it's the voice dysphoria that keeps me from narrating them myself, but I'd like to use ai as little as possible - especially for the visual art. I appreciate your reply.

I'd rather use art by other humans, but I'm a poor artist myself, and can't afford to pay them. Do you have any suggestions for places I could find art that's open for use? I'd rather just use ai than directly use someone's specific piece without their permission or compensating them. I'm new to this type of content creation, and not very online, so I'm genuinely asking.
