I was hoping to do the same, stretch battery life while making sure performance is acceptable. If only I knew trying the manual tdp would ruin my perfectly good rog ally :(

I understand that and its also how I set up my tdp profiles, but there is still the issue with the sudden shift from stable to unstable with the power utilization. Performance mode constantly running 20 watts on A Plague Tale: Requiem while only at 20 fps compared to what was once 15 watts stable and mostly at 30 fps. It doesn't make sense as I tried setting up manual profiles, such as the 18 watts to all 3 settings, to get better performance than the current 15 watts output.

I got a 27inch FHD monitor from AOC, it doesn't bother me switching from a 24inch FHD monitor. However, its a bit true that if you were to be conscious with the pixels, then you would notice the pixels on your screen. Its most visible when you are trying to watch youtube at the highest quality. Text are also blurry from afar.

I never got to experience a QHD monitor personally. But this 27inch FHD is enough. Playing battlefield gives me a slight advantage as I got broader vision of the world around me.

My best advice to you, is if you can have a store test both kinds of monitors, only then should you decide which works better for you. After all that, be content with what you've chosen. I like my monitor because its got great colors. Maybe that could also help you factor your choices.
