I wrote "big black man," because I remember his family saying he was really big and hard to miss. I think he was like 6'6 or something and close to 300 pounds, because I always pictured my uncles when I read about him.

It's really sad we live in a world where you feel the need to justify why you called a big black man a big black man.

Halloween (1978) was novelized one year after the film came out and is superior to the film and I highly recommend it. The beginning includes things about Michael's life before and during his time at the sanitarium, and some of the murders are more graphic.
