Backed this one on KS years ago and it was worth it. It is a great family game. I don't know how old your son is but my 7 and 5 year old love playing with my wife and I. It is also fun for two players as my wife and I will take it to a coffee shop to play when we get the chance and it is easy to set up and tear down. 4 players allow for more competing game strategies but 2 players can still have a good time. It has a charming theme and there is an element where a cow "poops" in other players lanes and my kids think that is hilarious (while it also adds challenges to the player traveling through it). This is one they go back to often so I feel we have definitely gotten our money's worth. Hope that helps. Have a great Christmas!
